Darbelnet testified before the U.S. House Ways & Means Subcommittee, asking Congress to OK increased spending on transportation infrastructure to address safety and congestion. He said AAA would support increasing the gas tax to help pay for the improvements in the short term if Congress would ensure accountability for the funds, significant program reforms and transparency.
