occupants to wear safety belts when riding in the rear seat of a motor vehicle.
S190/A102 Provides that
no license or learners permit shall be retained by a person under the age of 18
unless such person either : holds a high school diploma or equivalent diploma
or; is enrolled in and attending an educational program and maintains a good
attendance record.
S263/A1835 Increases
penalties for criminal convictions of driving under the influence of drugs where
a child, under the age of 17, is a passenger.
S290/A1713 Authorizes the
discretionary imposition of emergency costs against those convicted of driving
while intoxicated or driving while alcohol impaired.
S403/A5488 Provides that surcharges derived
from drivers convicted of alcohol related offenses be deposited in county
established STOP-DWI programs.
S480/A204 Requires motor vehicle operators to
exercise due caution when approaching a parked, stopped or standing hazard
vehicle. For operators of vehicles on controlled access highways, provides
that such "due caution" shall include moving over to an adjacent
highway lane.
